Stockrosen sind romantisch wirkende und prchtige Leitpflanzen fr den Bauerngarten. 'Chaters Double Pink' blht reichlich, steht auf festen straffen Stielen und ist robust gegen die Rostkrankheit. Die hohen Pflanzen passen gut als Hintergrund in Blumenrabatten, zwischen Stauden, an Zune, Mauern und in lndliche Grten. Die dicht gefllten groen Blten in zartem Rosa erfreuen sehr lange von Juli bis September. Stockrosen haben eine sehr schne Fernwirkung und eignen sich auch hervorragend als Schnittblumen fr hohe Vasen. Hhe ca. 150 cm.
Tipps
Die Pflanzen sind eigentlich zweijhrig. Fhlen sie sich am Standort wohl, treiben sie wie Stauden immer wieder neu aus. Aussaat in Beeten oder Schalen, ca. 5 mm mit Erde bedecken, andrcken und angieen. Bis zum Auflaufen gleichmig feucht halten, dann hell und luftig weiter kultivieren. Nach ca. 3 Wochen in Pflanzbeete oder Tpfe pikieren und im Herbst auf nahrhaften, gut durchlssigen Bden ohne Staunsse auspflanzen. Freilandsaaten frhzeitig vereinzeln oder an den Endstandort verpflanzen. Vorbeugender Schutz gegen Rostbefall schon im Aussaatjahr sichert krftige und gesunde Pflanzen. Insbesondere in windoffenen Lagen mit Staudenhaltern oder Stben sttzen. Die Blten knnen fr die Vase geschnitten werden, wenn ca. 3 Einzelblten geffnet sind.
