Ab Februar bis April in Anzuchtschalen. Saatgut nur ganz leicht bedecken. Saattiefe ca. 0,2cm. Fr ausreichend Licht sorgen.
Keimung
Keimung ab 20C nach ca. 810 Tagen, optimal 2224C. Wenn das Keimblatt sichtbar ist, in kleine Tpfe pikieren und bei ca. 1820C weiterkultivieren.
Kultur
Ab Ende Mai ins Freiland pflanzen. Vorher abhrten und auf Nachtfrste acht geben.Reihenabstand 50cm, in der Reihe 40cm. Anbau unter Glas meist ertragreicher.
Standort
Mglichst sonnig und warm, windgeschtzt. Tiefgrndiger, gelockerter, humoser und gleichmig feuchter Boden. Starkzehrer, regelmige Dngergabe.
Ernte
JuliOktober, meist 56 Erntegnge mglich. Frchte nicht abreien, sondern schneiden, damit die Triebe nicht beschdigt werden.
Verwendung
Vielseitige Verwendung als Rohkost, Salat, fr Suppen, Soen und vieles mehr. Mit das vitaminreichste Gemse, vor allem Vitamin C. Hoher gesundheitlicher Wert.
Tipp
Im Freiland ist ein sehr warmer, sonniger und windgeschtzter Standort empfehelnswert. Der Anbau unter Glas ist frhzeitiger und ertragreicher.
